Product Description We've completely rethought how the product interfaces with the user both aesthetically and functionally. iTrip now uses the iPod's high resolution LCD for optimal viewing of station information. Additionally the sled design and minimalist controls make this the thinnest FM transmitter for the slimmest iPod to date. Griffin's SmartDisplay? technology seamlessly integrates all functions and features with the iPod nano. iTrip information is displayed on the best screen in the industry: the gorgeous iPod nano screen. One touch navigation puts all iTrip functions at your fingertip. This also makes iTrip for iPod nano the easiest-to-operate FM transmitter, ever. The exclusive SmartSound? volume control, dynamically adjusts iPod's volume level for optimal audio quality. Additionally, users can control iTrip's volume level through the iPod's click wheel. iPod nano slides into iTrip and securely connects via the iPod's dock and headphone connectors. iTrip accomplishes all this without adding bulk to the slim, sexy iPod nano. To stay securely attached it uses patented micro grip technology. This technology uses microscopic material to provide a secure grip without ever losing its holding properties. iTrip's innovative selectable mono or stereo modes allow the user to adjust for the absolute best possible reception under real-world conditions. Enable the Mono mode in tough situations, such as large cities with stations crowding the dial for unparalleled reception. Switch to stereo mode for the best audio reproduction when you have a clear station. Keeping your music broadcasting is no problem. iTrip draws its nominal power directly from iPod nano, requiring no batteries or AC adapters. A built-in USB port allows iPod nano to charge or synchronize music. Perfect for use in autos or at home.

FM transmitter review November 7, 2008 Mr. A. N. Thorn As this product is so cheap, not much can be expected of it. And unfortunately this is the case, I find it drains my ipods battery fully within a couple of hours and is also useless at transmitting the music. I have found that I cannot take the device more than 2ft away from the device before all reception is lost. I would stongly advice you not to buy this product despite it being so cheap. Also postage for this item is very expensive at 4.50 however I managed to get this waivered with a simple email to photoland.
poor product did not fit ipod nano August 28, 2007 J. Roach product took a long time to arrive when compared with other items purchased from amazon when it arrived the product did not fit my ipod nano.
ipod trip June 2, 2007 A. Dawson Excellent bit of kit for your ipod. Great to be able to listen to ipod through any digital radio removing need for Headphones. Would def recommend. Though note for First Generation nanos only.
Not all it cracked up to be!!! May 31, 2007 Robert G. Skinner (Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Firstly it lookes far superior to any other itrips i have seen. However the reception is poor very crackley and has to be as near to the aerial in the car for any success. My brother has the griffin itrip that fits on the ipod but is sized for the larger ipod, doesn't look so good but is far more practical. I'm ditching this one and going for the other one.
Its great! maybe read the description other reviewers! April 29, 2007 Mo Hoyt (North Berwick, Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Firstly I'd like to mention that these iTrip's are truly great things and this one is no exception. They are especially brilliant in the car during long journeys when you just get bored of cassettes or normal radio... One thing though... The majority of the reviewers here are giving this product stick and a rubbish rating because THEY DIDN'T READ THE DESCRIPTION... 1ST GENERATION iPod NANO!!!! Yes there is a difference, so make sure to read the description...
