I bought this from halfords after, the one I bought from ebay was totaly rubish and wouldnt even send a signal to my cars radio. this one however would and it was clearish, the qualty wasnt as good however as the local radio stations, and the sound was much less dynamic, this is very noiticable when playing dance music or music with a larger beat, it just couldnt cope with it. I packed mine back up and im going to take it back to halfords when i get a chance. I do appriciate that your only going to get fm sound quality no matter whats connected but it should sound as good as if not better than local radio stations. if sound quality is your thing then forget this.
