Superb October 29, 2008 Richie (Weymouth, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having already tried a couple of these FM transmitters and been disappointed by the background noise (especially when listening to audio books) and clunky operation, I was loathed to get another one, but I bought this on the strength of the other reviews. I am very very pleased with the product! Crystal clear transmission, long battery life, easy operation and a really quick delivery. Highly recommended.
fine for in the background..... October 21, 2008 S. flood (Belfast - NI) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this to use in the car along with my Zen Stone. I found it particularly poor when using with the Stone, which has excellent sound quality when listening via earphones. However, once connected to the Transmittor, sound quality was poor at best. A lot of static and very muffled. Also, if you want to have the volume higher it was a total no go!! i've recently upgraded my Stone to a Zen Mosiac, and tried again with the transmittor. The result was much better this time round. However, as with the stone, the upper volume limit is pretty poor. Sound quality is grand whilst the volume is low (ish) but any higher and there is a 'muffling' to the songs which is pretty intolerable. All in all, fine for the price, quality is probably affected by the quality of MP3 you use with it.
It works. September 30, 2008 KettleFish 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Straightforward piece of equipment. Simple to use and which does the job effectively. It would be nice if the sound quality was better but it is no worse than other transmitters I have used. Bearing in mind the price it is an excellent piece of equipment.
waste of money August 25, 2008 Mark Hendrie (Glasgow, Scotland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The battery life is dreadful; the signal strength is at best poor and the design shocking. Don't waste your money (like I did) going for the cheaper option. It's far more frugal to pay a little bit more and get one that cradles and charges your ipod while running the transmitter all from your cigarette lighter.
