O.K... but... October 11, 2008 Mike the Mason (Lincoln, UK) O.K.... but I wish I'd paid more for one with a remote that straps to steering wheel. Obvious really but all controls are through iPod so if you want to skip a few tracks you'll probably crash. Otherwise, works as advertised.
Fabulous little gadget! October 3, 2008 L. Peck (Norfolk) I received this Griffin ITrip this week in the post from Amazon and it is brilliant. I have only used it locally but the signal is really clear and it is so easy to set up - and I only ever read the instructions if something won't work the first time! At the click of a button it scans, saves three preset stations, you set up your car stereo to one of the presets, switch on your Ipod and away you go. It saves the frequency so if you preset the frequency on your car stereo it is really easy to start up again when you get back in the car. I love it and would definitely recommend it!
Not so great ITrip August 11, 2008 A. Kriegler (London. UK) 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this ITrip from Amazon a few days ago thinking I had finally found a solution to my problems with the Vauxhall Astra stereo, having no Ipod input jack plug. Received this item and tried it out with no luck. I then tried it on another stereo and it worked ok. Thinking that was weird I ordered another one from Amazon hoping that it was just a faulty ITrip. When the new one arrived it was the same, I can just get the music from my IPod to come through the speakers with a lot of interferance and static.Have tried rescanning and setting it onto mono, with no joy. I have now just given up, I do not think its the ITrip (well hope not), Honestly I think its all down to the really crappy stereos Vauxhall are fitting to there vehicles these days. Hope this helps, Good luck.
